Metaphysics

The following is just one among many ways to divide Totality, but for now, this eleven tiered paradigm and its definitions are provided before elaborating upon any finer points.

Irreducible Unity: The Supreme Good, Divine Irreductive Absolute, Ultimate End Telos, Unconditioned, etc., antinomy to the Reducible as Indeterminate/Undifferentiated and Circumductive Sunairema Co-aggregate, proceeds like a Divine Elemental Principle Theiou-Proton to its Attribute for the Inevitable without any separation from itself in what it is and in what it does, is Irrefutable yet is beyond its own Truth, beyond the Necessity of its Principle-Truth, beyond the Inevitable Necessity itself, beyond the Irreducibility of Necessity, for it is the Irreducible True Self-Union that is mistaken for the Ineffable as a Hidden One Amonas, yet its neither Hidden nor Exposed in exposition, for such attributes that it doesn’t possess is not its true defining attribute beyond the Principle and Attribute dichotomy as it’s absolved from such fetters for it simply cannot be anything other than the Self-Union, Unexcelled Excellence.

Inevitable Duality: The Supreme Attribute, Divine Inseparable Necessity, necessitates Free Will without being nor becoming its willing of the Will, antinomy to the Evitable as Indefinite, intercedes for Irrefutable to be uplifted into the Irreducible, the Nature of the Irreducible, Self-Interceding Goodness from the Good, Justice.

Irrefutable Trinity: The Supreme Principle Arche above all Principalities, The Principle that is also the Divine Unforgetable-Unveiling Aletheia as the Ambrosia, Primordial Gnosis that subdues Primordial Agnosis, antinomy to the Refutable as Ineffable, the Spirit of the Irreducible-Inevitable overcomes sublation altogether through subjugation, Self-Illumined Wisdom, Courage.

Ineffable Trinity: The Absential Principality, Harmatia Sin/Erring away from attainment of the Invisible yet Blinding Truth, Effably-“Ineffably-Ineffable” Silence Aporrhetos, the Ineffable-Indefinite-Indeterminate Abidance in the Tri-fold Darkness of Primordial Agnosis partlessly apart from the Irreductive-Inevitable-Irrefutable as the Impenetrable-Unspeakable Aporrhetos-Trias, the resultant effect of decoupling the Indeterminate away from the Indefinite as the Ineffable, sublates both the Indefinite and Indeterminate in a cowardly-veiled manner, Dogmatic Fear.

Indefinite Duality: The Absential Superimposition, the Indefinite-Indeterminate that’s contingent and causal to both Ineffable and Indeterminate as the Aoristos-Dyas which can ascend or descend yet remains below the Ineffable as it’s Bi-fold Darkness, sublates the Indifferentiate in a fraudulently-direct manner as a co-aggregate while being sublated by the Ineffable, Regressive Evil.

Indeterminate Unity: The Absential Circumduction, the Effably-Indeterminate Adioristos-Hen, Unmixed One itself beyond all Activity of Potential pertaining to both One/Unity and All-things in being none of them, the Transcendence of Differentiae that Reverts in on itself as the Uni-fold Darkness in a gullibly-oversimplified manner, Cyclical Foolishness.

One-All-things: The Effably-Differentiated Dioristos Hen-Panta, Activity of the Potential of the Participatory One/Unity Proceeding to All-things in an Unparticipatory, Formless manner, the Limit Henad that the Unlimit Henad is bounded to, Fortune.

All-things-One: The Effably-Differentiated Dioristos Panta-Hen, Activity of the Potential of the Participatory All-things Reverting to the One in an Unparticipatory, Formless manner, the Unlimit Henad that is the basis for the Unified to proceed against and surpassing the One-All-things Henadic procession upwards towards the Indeterminate and beyond, Strength.

Unified as Unity Hypostasis(Unity of Unities): The Effably-Indistinguishable Adiakritos Henomenon, Activity of the Potential of both the Limit and Unlimit Henads as the Mixture Henad of all Unities Above and Below that Remains in an Unparticipatory, Formless manner, the First Plotinian Hypostasis as the One-One that is the Unit Ratio, the basis of all Theorithmetical and Georithmetical Quotientness, Measure, and Participatory Oneness for instantiated All-things other than the One-One contingently downstream upon it imbued in forms, all without in actuality becoming the Participatory One but provides for it its Potentiality to Actualize all Possibilities in an Active manner, Temperance.

Mind Hypostasis(Being/Whole/Plurality/Mentation/Magnitude): The Second Plotinian Hypostasis as the One-Many that has in itself the Being On/Substance Ousia, the Power Dunamis/Possible Dunatos, the Intellect Nous/Intellectual-Perception Noesis/Intelligible-Object Noeta, etc., as the One-Mind that has a trace of the First Hypostasis in itself, Beauty.

Soul Hypostasis(All-Soul/World-Soul/Soul/Body/Consciousness): The Third Hypostasis as the One-and-Many that has in itself the Noumenal All-Soul, the Phenomenal World-Soul/Aether/Void as Non-Composite Prime Matter, the Individual Higher Soul/Divided Noumenal Soul within Phenomenal Soul, the Divided World-Soul/Body/Composite Matter, and the Lower Soul/Consciousness/Mortal Life/Disembodied yet Self-Objectified Soul-Body, etc., as the One-Soul that has a trace of the First and Second Hypostases in itself, Love.

Although I put the Ineffable-Indefinite-Indeterminate in a bad light, it’s not to say there’s no basis in thinking of it as completely unreasonable, since the Indeterminate is the Ontotheological Unity that unites the six Theology tiers above and the six Ontology tiers below, yet it is a false center, while the Indefinite Duality, also known as a type of “Non-Dualism” but in a profane, ignoble sense, gets easily conflated with aspects of the Irreducible-Inevitable-Irrefutable, and of course, the Ineffable Trinity as a third thing that makes everything one Ineffable thing, yet the demonstration of knowing this Ineffable is in its unknowing and abiding in silence, which means that anyone can demonstrate that they know that they don’t know through silence, refusing to elaborate, whereby even a silent dog can demonstrate the same silence. Those that abide in the truth do indeed tend to be silent, but only because they have spoken the truth of the matter beforehand and no longer see fit to share the truth to those who still don’t get it. Treating this refusal to further elaborate upon the truth is not the same as the refusal to elaborate what is truth itself, for the former is a matter of discussion between a knower and the ignorant, while the latter is the ignorant trying to get along with those who are pretending to know by pretending to be silent as an ends of validation among their peers and even themselves into thinking that silence justifies their ignorance on the matter just because it superficially cannot be distinguished by fools if one’s being silent because they don’t need to repeat the truth or because they don’t actually know the truth so can’t even begin to speak of it.

Technically every tier is a Unity in some manner, so it is a Theo-Oudeis-Heno-Onto-Logos Theo-oudeis-heno-onto-logy. Many of the Higher tiers above the One-One has traces of it within the One-Mind and One-Soul. The Ogdoadic nature of the One-One makes itself the Enneadic One, yet it also has a Dyadic Emanation as the One-Mind and the One-Soul, and is also a Triadic One itself, while also being the Hendecadic One in a Twofold sense, as all eleven tiers are known through it, and it is the One that gives rise to at least five sub-hypostatic distinctions for both the One-Many and the One-and-Many, as the One that gives rise to at least Ten sub-hypostases. No one should trust any system for its comparative Theo-Arithmos-Logos Theorithmological adherences and contortions to fit specific numbers, for such things are ab-extra lesser attributes that it is seen to possess when it is precisely besides the point of the division of the Totality, for this is all to elucidate upon common misconceptions and to bring awareness to Self-Awareness that must be known by you personally of these impersonal schema.

Collectivistic appeal to any number of “Gods” of some Pantheon or even the “Heroes” in recorded history of some specific culture is all devotionalistic distractions and simply couldn’t matter to the Wise that see it as impious behavior towards their devotion to Truth. That is why I don’t see it fit to recursively expand sub-distinctions, such a fool’s errand is clerical busywork. As much as I like the Plotinian schema, the Irreducible through the Unified and its nuances have ensnared the Hellenic Platonic Athenian School, while there isn’t really any concerted and existing refutation of the Hellenic Alexandrian School of these many sub-hypostases as hypostatizations in themselves. Although the Damascian schema is directly considered concerning its so called first principles, anything concerning Being and below in the Athenian School’s schema in general is a complete waste of time and effort for any wise individual to try to formulate a complete taxonomic, expanded Porphyrian Tree on by themselves beyond the basics, while any specifics is only applicable and useful in that field of research and development, which is in general, always a topic beneath Metaphysics as its always changing with no end to be had, as such is the nature of empirical epistemology will never have closure, but only self-consistent closure before it is refuted down the line ad infinitum.

For as wise as Plotinus was in making the Gods that are in the world no different than any other individual souls while comparing the One as Ouranos, Intellect as Kronos, Soul as Zeus, these things are for sake of anagogical understanding, and so likewise the virtues and vices that I’ve compared the eleven tiers with isn’t to be taken too far. I also do not bother trying to make any sort of divination system as it is an unskillful task and dishonest means of living that never feeds the self-inquisitor what they actually seek deeper down past the ephemeral nature of mortality, and all who engages in them lack faith in the teachings of the wise sages since time immemorial that speaks against these vain distractions regardless of how “real” it is, it doesn’t edify the True Self whatsoever.

The way the sub-hypostatic distinctions of the One-Mind was formulated is in a manner that does not necessarily prevents any furthered subsequent sub-hypostatic distinctions, yet makes the fifth distinction of the Noetos/Noeta/Mimesis and Schema of the processional Eidos in Noetic Intellectual activity as Noesis by the Mind/Intellect Nous out of the Dunamis Power of the Ousia Essence/Substance of the Hen-On Unity-Being that imprints its image into the One-Soul and things generated in it, so that there is a distinction of unchanging Noumena of the Noeta hypostatically separate from changing Noumena of the All-Soul while still fundamentally being both Noumenal. Iamblichus, Syrianus, Proclus, Damascius had added too many recursively applied tiers within the Plotinian Second Hypostasis to absurd lengths, so I’ve put an end to it at five sub-hypostatic distinctions.

The way the sub-hypostatic distinctions of the One-Soul was formulated is in a manner that eradicates any furthered subsequent hypostases. It is purely a contingent soul, it is forever bound to change, and so it’s not to be conflated with the One-One and the One-Mind that is prior to, and the cause of which for the One-Soul to be both to be and not to be, it is never the Subject, the true Liberant, the Lord of the Soul, the True Self. The psychophysical phenomenology has no beginning nor end to its differentiation between the sub-hypostatic distinctions with further dialectical divisions, so I’ve only limited it to five. The Highest Soul however is the One-Mind but only when it overcomes its Primordial Agnosis can it be uplifted into none other than the One-One through the Good’s Goodness. There is no limit to Primordial Agnosis, so there are many Minds as well as many One-Minds that attain the One-One but in doing so, there’s only always has been One Liberant for Liberation and was always been Liberated and never not been Freed nor Bound, so it is better to think that there are many One-Minds that have become the One-One while also denying that they are Many, for the Manyness of the One-Many has been left behind to the One-and-Many and has been decoupled from the One-Many as ends for the Unity to the Absolute Good. It’s just that there’s just a lot more nuanced hyperontic paradigms that needs to be conquered to the ends of beholding the Irreducible, but otherwise, I hold to a threefold system without anything past the One-and-Many, for Manyness is known through the Absence of the One and in ignoble unity to that absence as none other than the One-Soul in its various gradations from noumenal hypercosmic totality of the soul as the beginningless and endless principle cause of motion and the attribute effect of change, to indivisible phenomenal cosmic aetheric prime matter void, to encosmic divided noumenal souls within the phenomenal cosmic body, to phenomenal divided cosmic compositional material bodies, to the ensouling of the material body within the cosmic body by the divided soul from the total soul, which is different to a fivefold compound rather than say five elemental aggregation heap of the same material body tier as a comparative example. There’s nothing further that can be produced than the living being that isn’t in some ways equal to or prior to it.

Why don’t I have a system of five sub-hypostatic distinctions of the One-One? The higher eight tiers beyond it doesn’t easily compress into a fivefold system without losing important nuances. If I were to reduce it down to five however, I would make the Irreductive-Inevitable-Irrefutable as one tri-unity, and the Ineffable-Indefinite-Indeterminate as the other tri-unity, then the One-All-things, then the All-things-One, and then the Unified. The irony of all of this is that in trying to have a three hypostases by five sub-hypostases system, it is conceptually more complex than the initial eleven tier system. I’ve also conveyed intermediary paradigms going on that I didn’t set up as its own independent tier but as a composite of the tiers which is not the same as being its own tier for it’s an higher ordered system and not at the first order paradigm. Much of that nuance is lost in reducing the six higher tiers into two. However, we can make higher order sub-hypostatic relational terms separately from the higher order hypostatic relational terms (e.g., One-One-over-One-Many, One-and-Many-over One-One). Let’s not get too distracted in how one can increase complexity in this but for the sake of the inquiry continue to compress this paradigm.

With One-One/Unity(Irreductive-Inevitable-Irrefutable/Ineffable-Indefinite-Indeterminate/One-All-things/All-things-One/Unified), One-Mind/One-Many(Being/Potential/Intellect/Actual/Noumena), One-Soul/One-and-Many(Noetic-Soul/Cosmos/Soul/Body/Life) in mind, one may be tempted to reduce the five sub-hypostatic distinctions in a similar manner as the reduction of the six out of eleven tiers into two out of seven tiers of which five out of that seven turned into one tier. This is where a lot of disagreements may arise, but this is how I would do it: for the first five, I would merge the first with the fourth and the second with the third; for the second five, I would merge the first with the third and the second with the fourth; for the third five, I would merge the first with the fifth and the second with the fourth. You would have the following three hypostases by three sub-hypostases: One-One/Unity(Irreductive-Inevitable-Irrefutable-abiding-All-things-One/Ineffable-Indefinite-Indeterminate-abiding-One-All-things/Unified), One-Mind/One-Many(Being-proceeding-Intellect/Potential-proceeding-Actual/Noumena), One-Soul/One-and-Many(Noetic-Soul-reverting-Life/Cosmos-reverting-Body/Soul). This can be further compressed as a three hypostasss by two sub-hypostases: One-One/Unity(Irreductive-Inevitable-Irrefutable-abiding-All-things-One-over-Ineffable-Indefinite-Indeterminate-abiding-One-All-things/Unified), One-Mind/One-Many(Being-proceeding-Intellect-over-Potential-proceeding-Actual/Noumena), One-Soul/One-and-Many(Noetic-Soul-reverting-Life-over-Cosmos-reverting-Body/Soul). To further compress this system without just blurring all the sub-hypostatic distinctions as irrelevant as long as we just know what it entails, we need to surpass Plotinus yet ignoring the critiques of Plotinus against Middle Platonic Ontotheology. We need to somehow split the One-Mind/One-Many into two and synthesize what can be decoupled from it into the higher and lower hypostases.

This will make an oddly peculiar system of two hypostases by three sub-hypostases before we compress it even further. I shall call the newer higher hypostasis the One-One-One, and the newer lower hypostasis the Many-One-and-Many. The six sub-hypostases are the same as before. The One-One-One has Irreductive-Inevitable-Irrefutable-abiding-All-things-One-over-Ineffable-Indefinite-Indeterminate-abiding-One-All-things/Unified/Being-proceeding-Intellect-over-Potential-proceeding-Actual, while the Many-One-and-Many has Noumena/Noetic-Soul-reverting-Life-over-Cosmos-reverting-Body/Soul. Now to turn it into two hypostases by two sub-hypostases, the One-One-One has Irreductive-Inevitable-Irrefutable-abiding-All-things-One-over-Ineffable-Indefinite-Indeterminate-abiding-One-All-things-reciprocating-Unified/Being-proceeding-Intellect-over-Potential-proceeding-Actual, while the Many-One-and-Many has Noumena/Noetic-Soul-reverting-Life-over-Cosmos-reverting-Body-reciprocating-Soul. We can proceed in a strange manner that would have two hypostases with one sub-hypostases each but with one second order intermediary sub-hypostasis as the Being-proceeding-Intellect-over-Potential-proceeding-Actual-reciprocating-Noumena. We can forgo this second order intermediary sub-hypostasis and make a single sub-hypostasis per hypostasis, but having the number of sub-hypostases per hypostasis being equal to one makes it indistinguishable from the hypostasis. Before we go even further, I will say that this second order intermediary sub-hypostasis definition is in itself the definition of the One-Many hypostasis, while the Irreductive-Inevitable-Irrefutable-abiding-All-things-One-over-Ineffable-Indefinite-Indeterminate-abiding-One-All-things-reciprocating-Unified is the definition of the One-One hypostasis, and finally the Noetic-Soul-reverting-Life-over-Cosmos-reverting-Body-reciprocating-Soul is the definition of the One-and-Many.

Now, the definition of the One-One-One would be the Irreductive-Inevitable-Irrefutable-abiding-All-things-One-over-Ineffable-Indefinite-Indeterminate-abiding-One-All-things-reciprocating-Unified-ascending-Being-proceeding-Intellect-over-Potential-proceeding-Actual, while the definition of the Many-One-and-Many would be the Noumena-descending-Noetic-Soul-reverting-Life-over-Cosmos-reverting-Body-reciprocating-Soul. Before directly defining the Totality, the names of the One-One-One and the Many-One-and-Many does not quite fit conventional Neoplatonic terms neatly, for the One and the Soul has the Mind divided equally to both, nor can it be a term that is merely representative of a middle term within the definitional spectrum of the three hypostases by three sub-hypostases paradigm for both sides, for if that were to be done, the One-One-One is the Unified and the Many-One-and-Many is the Noetic-Soul-reverting-Life-over-Cosmos-reverting-Body, but neither of these sufficiently encapsulates it, nor does picking a second order sub-hypostatic term that’s the fifth and sixth together and the tenth and eleventh together out of the fifteen sub-hypostases as the Unified-Being and the Noumena-Noetic-Soul respectively seem right to me, for the depth of it for both is lost, as the One-One-One is from the Irreducible down to upper Intellect and the Many-One-and-Many is from the lower Intellect down to Life, nor is it skipping through the intermediary sub-hypostatic terms, and conveying it as distinctions of the Intellect neglects what is above and below it. I also can’t use the All or Totality and make an upper Totality and lower Totality or an Ultimate-Conventional “Two-Truths Doctrine” styled misappropriation of existing tier names in a manner that neglects the syntax for it is profane to even suggest that there’s two Irreducibles in a horizontalized schema while simultaneously denying its verticalized schema, yet that is what many in ancient times resulted to incorporating kataphatic and apophatic language together to do just that. If anything, it’s just an elaboration of relations of the Irrefutable to the Ineffable and the Ineffable to the Irrefutable, in how the Irrefutable rightly subjugates the Ineffable and the Ineffable wrongly sublates the Irrefutable. Regardless, I shall call the One-One-One the Ascending and the Many-One-and-Many the Descending due to how I’ve used those terms to bind together the split One-Many definition to the other definitions into either One-One or the One-and-Many making One-One-One and Many-One-and-Many.

The One-One-One-Many-One-and-Many, also simply the Totality, is the Irreductive-Inevitable-Irrefutable-abiding-All-things-One-over-Ineffable-Indefinite-Indeterminate-abiding-One-All-things-reciprocating-Unified-ascending-Being-proceeding-Intellect-over-Potential-proceeding-Actual-through-Noumena-descending-Noetic-Soul-reverting-Life-over-Cosmos-reverting-Body-reciprocating-Soul. If you disagree, you probably can switch around certain word ordering and add or remove words in a manner that satisfies what you seek in your own system. My system however isn’t merely “aesthetical”, it ultimately can be seen as compatible to the Neo-Aristotelian schema of Dynamis Power, Energeia Activity, Entelecheia Actuality in the first mode of Being, Kinesis Motion as Ateles Entelecheia Incomplete Actuality in the second mode of Being, Syneches Continuity of Unity and Infinity in the third mode of Being, Pros Hen Focal Unity in the fourth mode of Being, and Hexis Metastable Active Dynamism in the fifth mode of Being, of which can be related to the One, Indefinite, Nous, Psyche, Physis in the Plotinian schema, but the meaning is shifted and expanded upon with sub-hypostases in the incorporation of Athenian Neoplatonic terms.

Coincidentally, this setup, if we have “Many” as the magnitudinal measure of the inverse of the golden ratio as magnitude, the One-One-One-Many-One-and-Many adds up to the magnitudinal measure of three square side magnitudes plus the square root of five diagonal as magnitude, or alternatively, the five square side magnitudes plus the inverse of the golden ratio cubed as magnitude. However, the One-One is a ratio of equal magnitudes with a measure of One, so the Totality is anagogically in actuality is the golden ratio cubed as magnitude. One square side as magnitude plus the inverse of the golden ratio cubed as magnitude concerning it as an arc length subtended upon a circumference of the sum of the five square side magnitudes plus the inverse of the golden ratio cubed as magnitude as circle, has the same angle as one square side as magnitude as an arc length subtended upon a circumference of the golden ratio cubed as magnitude as circle, but such georithmetical coincidences is irrelevant to this overall discussion, not to say there isn’t some georithmetical-metaphysical anagogy to exploit to express certain things, but that’s already been demonstrated regardless of you personally grasping it or not. I am just noting this for the record, not that it really matters to anyone but a few, that Ken Wheeler most certainly did not come up with this definition of Totality done in here, but he abuses phi proportionality as ends to express that the sum of one square side as magnitude plus the inverse of the golden ratio cubed as magnitude as an arc length with a smaller circle can overcome the inverse of the golden ratio cubed as magnitude as an arc length while keeping the same angle, as an anagogical expression in the erasure of Primordial Agnosis as the inverse of the golden ratio cubed as magnitude as an arc length. Neither he nor any other phi ratio and proportion obsessed rube by any stretch of the imagination claim that he came up with “Irreductive-Inevitable-Irrefutable-abiding-All-things-One-over-Ineffable-Indefinite-Indeterminate-abiding-One-All-things-reciprocating-Unified-ascending-Being-proceeding-Intellect-over-Potential-proceeding-Actual-through-Noumena-descending-Noetic-Soul-reverting-Life-over-Cosmos-reverting-Body-reciprocating-Soul”, and why would they, it’s too much words to those that worship the Ineffable.
